I recently got a tattoo to celebrate getting my masters (good old marine biology). Its the water ambigram (from Dam Browns Angels and Demons) and filled with a wave based on those from The Great Wave also adapted to become an ambigram so the whole image can be viewed either way up. -Thomas Linley

This a portrait of my 11 inch Oscar Tarek who died in May 2006. Tarek was a very odd fish, a gentle giant. One time he bumped his head and scraped it and I made him a photo with a helmet on. When he died I got that portrait tattooed on my arm and it will be the crown on what will become a full sleeve fish arm. -Sonia |
